Venice is a city of art. Many painters and artists have studied in this magnificent city and have become famous all over the world. Among them was Umberto Moggioli.
This year is the 100th anniversary of his death and the city celebrates him with an exhibition at the International Gallery of Modern Art in Ca’ Pesaro. The exhibition will be open until March 1, 2020. 20 works by the artist have been selected and exhibited. Umberto Moggioli in his paintings mainly represented the suburbs of Venice and its hidden corners.
The Venetian lagoon is always the protagonist of his artworks. This exhibition will be the right occasion to admire one of his most famous paintings “Sera di primavera“. We hope that after admiring these wonderful paintings you will feel a little hungry, we will wait for you in our restaurant.
