“Venetian style” cuttlefish

The Venetian style recipe is well-known all over Italy: from the classic veal liver to fish dishes, onion is the fundamental ingredient for a perfect preparation.

In our menu you will find the delicious cuttlefish “Venetian style”: a suitable course to face the cold season, this recipe continues the local tradition.
The cuttlefish are browned in a pan with onion, garlic and parsley, and later they are simmed with white wine. Once cooked, they are combined with polenta, a mixture composed by corn flour and boiling water cooked in a copper cauldron for almost an hour. Don’t hesitate to ask our staff how you prefer the polenta, if softer or more charred.
